Mike
Since Mike retired K9 Shadow he has taken on base operations and management. Previously Mike and K9 Shadow became operational in Wilderness Air Scent in the spring of 2018. Shadow really enjoys finding people when they are lost. Shadow retired November 2020 and now enjoys the life of retirement with his family.
Shadow’s family consists of his Handler Mike, his wife, and their three young children. Some of his favorite toys to play with are squeaky balls and a stuffed Santa Clause’s. To him, it is always play time. His favorite spots to take naps are at his handler’s feet, by the front door, or in his gigantic dog bed.
